This hotel, once a former mansion, is currently looking to recruit a Wedding Co-ordinator. The property has 100 plus bedrooms and is 3 star. The property is part of a nationwide group of hotels and as such has excellent career development opportunities.

Job Description
As Wedding Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the following:-
* Proactively selling the hotel facilities at wedding shows and open days
* Meeting with couples to discuss their requirements
* Chasing enquiries and provisional bookings
* Producing function sheets
* Monitoring revenue and forecasting
* Having an input into wedding brochures and leaflets that are produced
* Liaising with the operations department
* Liaising with reservations team for bedrooms bookings
* Follow up calls to ensure guest satisfaction

Required Experience
* Previous experience as an events co-ordinator is required
* You must have had prior experience of co-ordinating weddings, not just corporate functions
* You must have a proactive sales attitude and be innovative and passionate about what you do * Previous hotel experience is essential

Salary
The starting salary for this role is £16,000- £19,000. To achieve the higher end of this salary you would need to have several years experience within this role. Parking is available on site.
