Service Desk Engineer / I.T Support Engineer (1st Line Support 8am-5pm)
Up to £13,000 pa (depending on experience) Inc bonus + benefits
Online Ltd is a relatively new dynamic IT Support Company based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Online Ltd currently offers a range of services from managed services to individual technical solutions such as hosting and co-location, infrastructure project management and implementation, VOIP telephony systems, business continuity planning, and hosted on-line data back-up services through to high-level consultancy.
We are currently seeking I .T Support Engineers to work our standard hours between 8am to 5pm
Skills and experience
Responsibilities
Technical incident management
First-line IT support and remote access
Remote monitoring of business-critical products and service levels, PC and server configuration and onsite support on an ad hoc basis
PC and server configuration
Proactive server monitoring and reporting
System checks
Back up monitoring and reporting
Out of hours scheduled/planned work (chargeable)
Skills
You ideally have:
Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Group Policies and Active Directory are advantageous
Excellent communication, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience of diagnosing Mac hardware and software issues, or have a good understanding of Mac hardware and software
Sedated-Computers considers all applicants, but the role typically favours those who are fully or part qualified. CCNA is desirable and relevant MCP, MCSA or MCSE qualifications are a strong bonus.
Familiarity with Mac, Lotus Notes, Citrix and Unix environments are a plus
We are seeking an Engineer with at least 1-2 years recent experience in a similar role
