Hi there!

Well first of all a bit about me…well I’m 30 years old and I have a HND in Early Childhood Studies in which I qualified in 2000. I have over 12 years experience working with children aged from birth up to 13 years in a variety of different settings and backgrounds. I have good knowledge of child development and can provide different activities and stimulation aimed at your child‘s individual development, I enjoy all kinds of different activities from going to activities in the community to getting messy at home i.e. baking, painting, sticky and gluing. I enjoy working with all ages and confident in both sole charge and working with others. I am confident in looking after twins or a number of children as previously worked in a number of settings I am used to working with more than one child. I have also done some experience working with children with disabilities. I have also done a stint at proxy parenting for 4 children while their parents were away in a different country. I feel I am able to look after newborns confidently and can help with feeding and sleep routines and can confidently care for your newborn’s health and well-being. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker.

I am looking to work in either a temporary or permanent position, I am available to work for just a few weeks or longer, if working in a temporary capacity I feel I am able to muck in at a moments notice and I feel confident to deal with settling children. I can start work as soon as possible and I hold a current CRB dated February 2009.
