Inner musicianship is an applied method for beginners and established musicians alike, that enables you to :

- Play on stage without nerves
- Play to an audience as well as you play privately
- Eradicate bad habits from your technique
- Learn new pieces at least twice as fast
- Sight-read without freezing from fear
- Memorize music with reliable recall
- Improvise with authenticity
- Improve your sense of pitch/rhythm/harmony

If any of these issues are bugging you it’s not surprising - very few music teachers or self-taught musicians know how to tackle these problems. The simple truth is, all of these issues arise from a lack of awareness of ones own emotional state, mental focus and nervous habits.Your UNconscious mind has a far greater power over you than your conscious mind does, and learning to use both might well be the best thing you ever do for your musicianship.

Simon Siddol is an educator, pianist and composer in many genres, with performances on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM to his name. During seventeen years experience as a music teacher he has gained a grounding in many esoteric mind/body techniques, such as meditation, breathwork, visualisation, emotional freedom technique (EFT), psychology of vision, chi-kung, and shamanic practice, and has integrated these techniques into the practice and performance of music.

Book a dozen lessons from Simon and you could be feeling like a completely new musician - calm, collected, compelling in performance, playing with a sense of ease, joy and flair...

Lessons are normally scheduled to last an hour and are priced at £35. After an initial meeting, students wishing to embark on an involved course are offered 11 lessons for the price of 10. This length of course provides for the time to examine many facets of 'musicianship-meta-programming' and begin to integrate them into one coherent practice. Prospective students are advised that at least four hours of practice/experimentation between lessons is required for best progress.

Whether it's just one bad habit that needs clearing, or a complete overhaul of your technique, this method can help.
