My client are one of the market leading Energy and Utilities companies providing bespoke solutions to high energy users across the UK.
The service is unique and an innovative approach is applied when winning and indeed retaining new business. As a result they have an extensive client portfolio including Local Authorities, Universities and Energy Suppliers.
Due to a new exciting spurt of business growth which involves a whole new sector, they are looking to recruit a Sector Sales Manager.
The newly appointed Sales Manager will be responsible for turning market research into reality and will be entrusted to build on their historical success in order to deliver the massive potential growth they know to be out there in the market.
You must have a strong customer ethos, drive and a proven track record in building successful sales teams and exceeding targets, whilst implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to ensure achievement of the targets and growth of the business.
Ideally you will be educated to degree standard (or equivalent) in an industry related subject and have sales experience gained within a technical component/solution environment.
Other duties are to include:
- Lead, design and develop necessary procedures required in order to monitor and manage the sales prospects.
- Develop and manage the sales teams including implementing the commission structure, customer pricing and discount policies.
- Preparing the annual budgets and forecasts as well as setting regional,area and individuals sales targets.
