SAWA’DEE School is continuing to offer high quality training in Nuad Thai Bo Ruan (Thai Yoga Massage) , in the beautiful village of Appleton le Moors in Yorkshire .


- Thai Foot Reflexology Massage, 15 hr, 2 Days
Sat/Sun 5th and 6th December

- Traditional Thai Massage , (35 hr) 5 days
Monday to Friday 7th to 11th December.

- Massage with Hot herbal Compress (Luk Pra Kob), 1 weekend
Sat/Sun 12th and 13th December





Course details:

Foot massage Sat/Sun 10-13.00, 14.00-18.30 (15 hr) Approved for Insurance.

Thai Foot Reflexology massage. An intensive 15 hour course to learn a full 50 minute routine as promoted by the Thai Ministry of Health.

Thai foot massage involves working the joints muscles and tendons of the foot with oils and herbal balms before stimulating a sequence of 24 reflexology points with a special wooden stick, after which a massage of the lower leg and knee is performed.

Course Content:

Thai theory and history - Foot anatomy - Basic reflexology theory - Massage sequence Instruction.

Materials provided: Thai wooden stick, DVD, manual, certificate.

Herbal Massage Sat/Sun August (15 hr)

Luk Pra Kob is the use of heated herbal compresses as part of a general massage sequence or as a stand alone treatment. Very relaxing , the combination of the heat and the essential oils released by the herbs (Ginger, Lemon Grass, Kaffir lime, eucalyptus ...) aid in reducing joint and muscle pain, cramps, depression and anxiety, skin problems. A great winter treatment and good for joint and muscle pain!

Course includes 2 Thai herbal compresses!

Course Content:

Thai Medical theory (42 manifestations) - Sib Sen Theory (Energy lines) - Herbal Classification (Hot, Sour, Aromatic) - Preparation of Herb Compress - Techniques and applications

Times: 10.00-13.00, 14.00-18.30

Traditional Thai massage Mon-Fri (35hr) Approved for Insurance.

Cheloysiak is the name for the popular style of Traditional Thai massage (a.k.a Thai Yoga Massage), generally known as Nuad Thai Bo Ruan ( Ancient Thai Massage).

This 30 hour courses teaches a 90 minute routine in the Side and Seated positions , for the whole body

Course Content:

Thai Medical theory (42 manifestations) - Sib Sen Theory (Energy lines) - Anatomy of Thai Massage - Body mechanics (moving in gravity) - Mind-Heart-Body-Breath - Techniques and applications - Reussri Dut Ton (Thai Breathing Exercises), heart centered meditation

Times: 10.00-13.00, 14.00-18.30

Nemir has been teaching Nuad since 2001, he originally trained in Thai Bodywork at the bodyharmonics centre in Cheltenham (qualifying with distinction), and then continued to study in Thailand , first at various schools around Chiang Mai, then privately.

Nemir is one of very few foriegners to have hands on clinical massage experience in Thailand, working at the Maeon community hospital near Chiang mai, and then later as a therapist and assistant to blind master Sinchai Sukparset at the Chang Phuak Clinic for massage by the blind , also in Chiang mai, Thailand . He teaches in the Caribbean, Mexico , Argentina , Germany , Spain and Italy .
