Temp Purchasing Clerk
We currently have roles within our Overseas Purchasing Department for temporary purchasing assistants. Initially the roles will be on a temporary basis for approximately 10 months.
The primary function of the role is to assist the buying team on a daily basis by performing a variety of purchasing tasks and general clerical duties.
Specific responsibilities will include assisting buyers with order and supplier management, liasing with internal customers regarding ranges and deliveries as well as dealing with external queries from suppliers. You will also be required to input data into excel and produce various reports using the computerised purchasing system.
Applicants must have a good telephone manner, some previous clerical experience and good excel skills. In addition you must be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, be organised and detail conscious. You must also be able to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment.
