96 Warwick Corvette, Bubinga, wenge neck; very slim and fast, unlike newer warwicks, which have necks like tree trunks in comparison. :) EMG pickups and electronics - 3 band EQ with sweepable mid. Has original, fully adjustable brass nut. Good condition (albeit with some regular playing wear) with very low action, recent string change and setup, superb to play, and absolutely sublime tone. Complete with heavily padded warwick gigbag, and Jim Dunlop straplocks. A serious instrument, which is far above the quality of new Warwicks; they're not built with this quality anymore, and the electronics alone cost over £400. The price reflects these points. For example - the neck and fingerboard are made of wenge, a pricey open-grain tonewood, which gives clarity and biting mids. Now only the fingerboards are wenge - the necks are made from ovangkol, which doesn't carry the same frequencies, and is also a much softer wood; the necks are much fatter to compensate.


Reduced to £600 after seeing that Warwicks don't hold their prices well in the 2nd hand market. :(


This really is a great deal, for a fantastic bass. I'd love to keep it but I unfortunately need the money. Would consider a swap for a Jazz bass.
