humyo.com, an online data storage service, requires skilled perl developers with experience of large, modular OO perl applications. You will work on the front-end interface, the server-side APIs and the underlying storage technologies to complete our service offering and make it a success. We seek motivated, intelligent candidates with perl as their primary skill who can make a significant contribution to our business and enjoy doing it.

You will work from our office in Saltaire as part of our development team of 5 on both individual and team driven projects. Our office has ample parking and is 2 minutes from Saltaire rail station, with parks, shops and bars all close by.

Required Skills
- OO Perl in large structured applications
- SQL (ideally MySQL)
- Is un-phased by new problems, and adept at using resources such as CPAN and mailing lists to solve them

Desirable Skills
- mod_perl
- Subversion/CVS
- Test-driven Development
- Template Toolkit
- SOAP, XML
- ORMs
- Linux
