We have a investigation this month 29th March 9pm - 6am at Bacup Theatre, Lancashire. Read below for more information.
The Royal Court Theatre opened on Monday 18th September 1893 as a theatre with seating for 2,200 people. It was built on the site of the hundred-year-old Barker’s Iron Foundry, remnants of which can still be seen in the masonry. Although the Theatre originally had two balconies the upper circle was removed in 1948. The Theatre was known as the Empire in the 1900s, and has been a Bingo Hall and a church. The Theatre has now been re-named the Royal Court once more and is now owned by the Bacup Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society. Since its restoration many of the staff and visitors have witnessed shadows around the stage and front aisle area, there have also been reports from around the bar area and in the balconies. The theatre has been plagued with unexplained phenomena including a workman’s tools going missing and turning up elsewhere, strange and unexplained noises were heard throughout. There have been reports of large temperature fluctuations throughout the building on a regular basis with some areas of the stage and balcony plummeting from 16C to 12C.

Williamson tunnels in Liverpool (first paranormal group allowed to investigate there, so it is a real privilege for our group!)
